The experience with Thilanga a was amazing he went above and beyond throughout the hole job highly rate him.
As for Stonemaster I was not the best experience I had a contractor come out then they said they wouldn’t do the job for the price I was quoted so I called stone masters again I was advised that they could do the job at that price and they would get someone direct from the company to come and do it during the weekend. Reason this was being done on the weekend was I couldn’t afford to take another day off due to already losing income because of the first contractor.
The weekend came and I received a call from Thilanga which he advised me he was on his way I called stonemaster a number of times to see what the go was with no one answering I eventually got a call back when Thilanga called and told you I was not happy which then I got called back. I was advised that Alex from stonemaster called in sick at night and they had to replace him with a contractor even though I was told by the contractor they got the booking early the day before.
Stonemaster apologised for the number of stuff ups that had happened and gave me a 10 percent discount on the job which I personally think wasn’t enough for everything I went through and to lose 2 days of income and get that.
All in all Thilanga did the job and went above and beyond he is a man of his words and doesn’t take any shortcuts to get the job done very professional.

What looked like a great job is actually a waste of time and money ! The nice man said there was no grout to do. Pictures say the opposite. I now have to have this done again and then resealed. Also caulking is not perfect , Terrible color when Silva said he had a terra cotta or cream color to match and he has use white. Very very expensive caulking job that I will need to remove and redo. Overall, a total waste of money! Except he cleaned the tiles very well.

Excellent team, arrived on time, measured the area to be sealed and adjusted the quote. They then set to work and did a beautiful job. Very happy with their skill and commitment to good work.

The outcome is disappointing - you could not use it in a before and after promotion! White segments (presumably salt) have emerged in only 24 hours and the look of the stone has not been enhanced by the sealer.

"Technician" arrived 2 hours after notified arrival time (I was advised by text message @ 8.00 a.m. that his arrival time was estimated to be @ "8.29 a.m." - he arrived @10.30 a.m.!!!!! No courtesy call to advise of expected delay.
Pleasant disposition, worked efficiently.
Result of his work - the surface preparation resulted in the sealant being absorbed into the tiles inconsistently - resulting in extensive blotchy/patchy appearance.
When the technician revisited several days later, he explained what had happened. He then applied 2 additional coats of sealant to the effected areas that day, with only 30 minutes between applications - IT WAS VERY CLEAR FROM HIS EXPLANATION AND WHAT WE SAW, THAT THE PROBLEM WAS EVIDENT - BEFORE HE LEFT ON DAY 1 !!!!! - AND ..... COULD HAVE/SHOULD HAVE BEEN RECTIFIED BY ADDITIONAL COATS APPLIED THAT DAY !!!!!
WELL OVERPRICED. A lesson learned by us.

Overall very happy with the result but disappointed the technician left without telling us he scuffed some paint on our wall with his equipment . Consequently I had to patch, sand and repaint the small area.

Overall I think the job was done well however I struggled to get a hold of someone when needed. There was evidence of a lack of communication within the business as many times I spoke to various people, they didn't know what I was talking about after I had discussed with other members of the team. I also was very upset that my credit card was charged $175 two days after I made the final payment without my permission and no refund or apology was issued. I believe this was due to a miscommunication ythat I was offered a 10% discount due to last minute change of dates for the job. I requested this discount upon final payment, which was then given however it seems my credit card details were retained and someone took it upon themselves to charge the 10% two days later. I am now in disputes with the bank over this charge to try and get my money back. Overall not a positive experience.

After our first ,most unprofessional result with your company, today we were extremely impressed with the absolute care and professionalism the two lovely men doing the job took. They were actually dismayed with the job the previous people had done, as were we.
The first job was done in an hr and a half whereas the 2 gentleman today took 5 hrs.
Only after todays hard work and amazing results, we will be happy to recommend your company to others.

The slate looks ok, but not as good as expected. It was, however damaged by a previous owner who had painted it black. The technician tried to remove the black, but in doing so, left a mess on the tiles and toilet, of black particles from sanding. There was also black water poured on the garden which is not acceptable. There is a small hole/gap and sharp edge on one tile still, perhaps the technician could return and it could be filled with grout? I was also harassed on the phone to make the payment that night, before I had seen the finished work. It was quite expensive for the quality of work.

Very happy with slate floors. Even though it took 10 hours. They came up better than before much cleaner. Would recommend. Customer service was great and communication was good with emails and calls. Well done.

We are very pleased with the excellent standard of work and ease of communicating with Tile and Grout Pro and Thilanga our technician. We received a very competitive quote and would definitely recommend them to others. Our pavers look brand new!
